Flat racing is back on the menu for this evening meeting and with four maidens on the card, it is not unusual for a potential star of the future to make an appearance. Indeed, the David Wachman-trained Meow won the 5f maiden for two-year-olds on last year’s card by no less than seven lengths prior to finishing a close second in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and winning a Listed race at the Curragh. The most valuable race on the card is the Sean Barrett Bloodstock Race, a conditions race over 1m 6f that often attracts some useful National Hunt performers. All told, it is a card that shouldn’t be missed.
