Jane Davis Appointed As Tipperary Racecourse Manager

Jane Davis, Sales and Marketing Executive, Leopardstown Racecourse, has been appointed as General Manager of Tipperary Racecourse with effect from 1st November 2011.
Jane, who has a life-long interest in all things equestrian, is a Sports Management graduate from University College Dublin and has a postgraduate diploma in Event Management and Public Relations.
Jane's experience, prior to joining the Leopardstown sales and marketing team in 2006, includes time spent working in racing yards, thoroughbred sales and the Curragh Racecourse.
Looking forward to the appointment Jane said: “Tipperary has a long and valued history as a racecourse and schooling-ground and I’m honoured to be appointed to this role. I relish the opportunity to continue its development, working with the experienced and talented committee and team on the ground”.
Brian Kavanagh, Chief Executive of Horse Racing Ireland said: “We wish Jane well in her new role to which she will bring the considerable experience she has gained in Leopardstown. Jane will also support the HRI Racecourse teams and the marketing campaign for the Leopardstown Christmas Festival, in the winter months”.
