Tipperary Racecourse - New Look Tipperary Racecourse
Tipperary Racecourse will open its turnstiles for the first meeting of the 2013 season on Thursday 18th April show casing the results of the latest development work at the Racecourse.
Following the completion of the new 42 stall American style barn that was opened at the start of the 2012 season this latest development will include a new entrance building and turnstiles, the relocation of the pre-saddling arena to the area in front of the Tipperary stand and close to the stable yard and improvements to the enclosure layout and the competition of the stable yard upgrade.
Both the Tipperary and Limerick end car parks will be in use for all fixtures. There will be AIR access from the Limerick end and a path way linking the Limerick end car park to the Tipperary end where the new entrance facilities will cater for all public access.
This exciting development will also include a bespoke playground located in the heart of the enclosure close to the self service restaurant and alterations to the bookmakers ring which are part of the overall improvements to the surfacing and layout of the enclosure.
The upgrading of the stable yard will be completed and will include replacing the doors in the oldest part of the yard and the extension of the stable staff canteen.
