The Pride of Tipperary has been part of the social fabric of Tipperary town and district since 1964. Through the years it has evolved and moved from a street event to an upscale 6 weeks of Fashion, Race Meetings, Gala Balls and Pride parties.
The Pride of Tipperary event took place at Tipperary Racecourse in August 2011. Tipperary Racecourse are delighted to be associated with the Pride of Tipperary and delighted with the way the event has grown in stature. Each year a charity is chosen to benefit from any funds raised during the Pride competition, last year’s benificiary is Cluain Arann Nursing Unit. The Pride Committee hope to generate a significant amount of income for this worthwhile organisation.
