How do I get to Tipperary Racecourse?
Tipperary Racecourse is located on the main Limerick - Waterford Road (N24) only 2 miles from Tipperary Town.
What should I wear?
There is no formal dress code at Tipperary Racecourse, but the main recommendation is that you dress smart and for the weather.
Can I book lunch?
Tipperary Racecourse offers a wide range of dining, hospitality or corporate entertainment for two to 1,000 people.
Is there parking?
Ample free parking is available at all meetings on a first-come first-serve basis. The earlier you arrive, the closer you will get to the turnstiles. There is an owners and trainers car park for the connections of horses that are running on the day.
Should I buy tickets in advance or just turn up?
Tickets can be purchased at the turnstiles for all racing fixtures, although savings can be made for selected meetings by purchasing tickets in advance.
Can I bring children?
Yes. Under 18s are admitted free to all meetings.
Can I hire binoculars?
Binoculars can be hired from a kiosk that is located in the enclosure. .
Can I use a camera?
You may use a camera without a flash in the normal public enclosures. Flash photography can frighten the horses. Photographs may not be taken for commercial purposes.
Is there an ATM at the Racecourse?
Unfortunately there is no ATM on the track, but you can get cash back in the restaurant.
